Legal Studies in 2013 involved two units of study including one on Human Rights and
Family Law and a unit on Cyber Crime and Legal Issues for Gen Z.
With a wide range of content and discussion and analysis of fascinating cases and
legislation, we enjoyed learning more about law and the practical application of law.
Students have presented on human rights cases including Dr Mohammed Haneef, David
Hicks and Cornelia Rau and debated over topical issues in Family Law. An in depth look at
Cyber Crime and Legal Issues of Gen Z was enjoyed with a visit from a representative from
youth Legal Aid to discuss the rights of children.
