The Year 11 Hospitality class enjoyed many experiences this year developing skills in
the hospitality industry. The delicious treats created were enjoyed by students, staff
andvisitors to the College. Compliments from visitors such as, “I am sure you will all
have apprenticeships at the Hyatt with this standard”, encouraged the students as
their skills grew. The highest compliment came from a member of the Registration
Panel who remarked to the students that he would be recommending Brindabella
Christian College to any student looking to study Hospitality. Much fun was had
catering for various events throughout the year such as the College’s Year 11 Open
Night, the Sports Carnival and visiting Principals and teachers. I’m so very proud of
the work of these four students and look forward to seeing what culinary paths they
decide to take in the future.
