The inaugural BCC Mission Trip for staff and students saw a band of 7 students and 5 staff
head to Vietnam from 12th April to 23rd April. What a significant moment this was, not
just for the 2013 Brindabella Mission Team, but for the entire BCC campus who supported
with their prayers and donations for the Hau Thao school in Sa Pa (North Vietnam), Ban
Mai School in Hanoi and SS3 orphanage. It was a journey that will not be forgotten by
those who took part; our lives cannot be the same after the privilege of serving on this
trip.
The BCC team was a dedicated, hard-working and true-spirited group. Strong team
work, positive spirit, energy and initiative shown throughout the mission were
impressive. At SS3 and the schools, the children responded happily and with great
excitement to the team’s visit. It was an honour to share God’s unconditional love
with the Vietnamese people, especially the poor and forgotten children and elderly of
Vietnam. Our lives are forever touched by witnessing the tremendous need, thirst for
knowledge and desire to be loved and remembered.
