of current students of the College. Its
sole aim is to support the school and its
students.
What have we done this year? Volunteer
members of the P & F contribute to our
school in many ways. Some of our regular
activities include;
• The Uniform Shop – located in theLyneham campus foyer sells pre-loved
uniform items, along with new blazers
and school bags.
• Gardening Club – volunteers managethe sowing and cultivation of
plantings around the school, recycling
efforts, composting and our worm
farms.
• School Banking – offers a weeklybanking service through the
Commonwealth Bank for children
from ELC to Year 12 across both
campuses. Over 100 children use this
service each week.
• Kitchen Angels – anonymous‘angels’ among us provide meals for
community members who need a
reminder that there are people who
care.
• Orientation Day Hospitality –volunteers provide lunch and a
genuine welcome for new families
each year.
• Classroom Assistance – parents,carers, friends and grandparents
spend time supporting teachers with
classroom activities and excursions.

uniforms for BCC Netball and
Mountain Bike teams, portable
shade structures for sporting
events, support for the Chic Wise
program, library resources, sandpit
cover and landscaping works in the
main quadrangle at the Lyneham
campus. We have also donated
money for set-up resources for the
Charnwood campus and subscribed
to ‘Parenting Ideas’ on-line
magazine.
• Disco – our inaugural school discowas held in September.
As I write this we are sailing fast
towards the end of another busy and
productive year for the BCC Parents
& Friends Association. We have
raised large amounts of money, and
supported our children, and our school
community in many ways. None of
this could have happened without the
generous contribution of time, talents,
skills and ideas by members of our
BCC community.
Many thanks to all our families
who have shopped, sorted, carried,
delivered, washed and ironed,
served, helped in a classroom,
shovelled, raked, manned a fete
stall, covered books, counted money,
moved furniture, sold tickets, been
on excursions, sizzled sausages,
baked cakes, sold uniforms, attended
meetings and participated in the life
of Brindabella in many ways. Your
support is much appreciated. The
entire BCC community is affected
positively by the caring, ‘can do’
attitude of our P & F members.
