YEAR 12 2015
2015 saw the fourth Year 12 cohort graduate from Brindabella Christian College. Out
of the 21 students 19 enrolled and undertook Tertiary study packages with the aim of
undertaking university studies following school. All 19 students successfully achieved
the requirements making up 90% of the student body who achieved a Tertiary Entrance
Statement. The highest ATAR result was 94.40. The average ATAR across the chort was
74.06 with a median score of 78.6. While 11% of students received an ATAR above 90,
47% of students received an ATAR above 80, and 63% of our students received an ATAR
above 70.
Congratulations to Mathias Everson who was Dux in 2015.
One student undertook vocational studies in Hospitality achieving qualifications in:
Cert I in Hospitality
Cert II in Hospitality
Cert II in Kitchen Operations
Future Planning
In 2016 there are a number of very exciting things happening:
• Mr Bruce Handley joins us as the new College Principal;
• At the Lyneham Campus triple streaming will continue to expand across each year level;
• A significant building project, encompassing $1,525,000.00 in Commonwealth Grants, will commence
at the Lyneham Campus to accomodate Junior School coupled with a new Sports Pavillion; and
• The Charnwood Campus will expand its leased footprint to allow for progression into Years 5 & 6 in
the future.
College Income
Income for the College is largely sourced by Government grants, both recurrent and capital, and fees from the
