Andy:
“You can’t quote me like that!”
Christian:
“I do what I want”
Christian Chung
I have found Brindabella to be an awesomely unique place.
I’m so grateful for the depth of faith that it has engaged me
in, and my hope is that the culture of unashamed worship,
prayer and love of Jesus will continue to be what makes
Brindabella stand out”
Andersen Clark
“Every experience, no matter how bad it seems, holds within
it a blessing of some kind. The goal is to find it.”
My favourite memory is my second day at Brindbella. I
remember being so overwhelmingy sad and lonely due to
moving schools. It was in English when I finally cracked and
bawled my eyes out. Mrs Spencer, such a beutiful woman,
made me physically feel wanted and loved and cared for in
one simple sentence: “I’m glad you’re here.”
Mrs Spencer, I am so ridiculously grateful to have you in my
life. You’ve changed my outlook on life completely, taught me
to open up and trust people, shared God’s love with me and
finally made me feel so fiercely loved, wanted and cared for.
My goal is to become an AFP officer, focusing on youth - but
next year I want to work, save up and hopefully travel.
Victoria Croker
“We are meant to be doing athletics training today....let’s go
play footy instead!” - Mr Maher
Next year I plan to go to University to study.
Luke Grzywacz
“I really want to write a novel. I also want to learn to play
the Mandolin.” - Emma Watson
Going out with the boys, sitting in the sunlight, just generally
having a good time. Watching as the frisbee drifts in the
current of the rolling wind, just a couple of guys enjoying
each other’s company.
I’m going to do what I want to do. I’m going to be who I really
am. I’m going to figure out what that really is.
Daniel McAuliffe
“Don’t do drugs, stay in school...this is quite a lot of rules, folow
them and your no fool, a message for the Lord.” - Veggie Tales
I am hoping to pursue my career in the Australian Military, to
become a solider and follow in my Dad’s footsteps.
Michael Steel
My favourite memories are people watching, great debates,
learning. Probably in Mrs Spencer’s class last year, when we
had a ‘bidding war’ for the girls. It was quite hilarious!
If everything goes to plan, I want to go Jillarooing in the NT
next year, just working, then I’ll head off to uni.
Heidi Kruger
My favourite memory is ‘circle times’ at Year 10 camp.
Next year I’m having a Gap Year!
Taylor Smith
My favourite memory: shenanigans with lovely friends.
What I’m doing next year: whatever Papa wants me to, it’s
His plan that’ll make next year great:)
Eliza Spencer
I don’t have a single favourite memory - it is impossible to
sum up 10 years of your life in a few words.
Next year I plan to stay in Canberra and study Law or Teach-
ing at university.
Mariah Tennant
Favourite Memory: Playing football at lunch
What I’m doing next year: University of Canberra studying
International Studies
Quote: “I don’t think limits” - Usain Bolt
Lachlan Jenkins
My favourite memory is of orientation day. Next year I plan
on going to University.
“It can’t be that bad of a decision if no one comes back in
time to stop you.” Abraham Lincoln
