The Vision of Brindabella Christian College is to advance a community of Wisdom, Integrity, Service and Excellence in and through Christian Education.

At Brindabella Christian College our students are encouraged to live full, productive and purposeful lives. They are encouraged to appreciate that beliefs underlie values and that these are lived out in practice. We believe that wisdom comes from deep understanding, deep connections and rich experiences and requires strength of character as well as the application of knowledge and discernment. By the end of each stage within the College (Early Learning Centre, Primary School and Secondary School), it is our hope that students will be able to demonstrate understanding and action of our W.I.S.E. values of Wisdom, Integrity, Service and Excellence as indicated in the following statements:

The College also supports the R.O.C.K. values of Respect, Obedience, Confidence and Kindness.

The curriculum seeks to develop the following values in our students:

Early Learning Centre

Understanding - God made everything, and He made us (Genesis 1:26 & Genesis 2:15).
Action - God made us all special, and He has a very special job for each of us to do (Genesis 1 26:27).

Primary School

Understanding - Understand that God knows everything about His creation and how we should live (Psalm 139 1:3).
Action - To think, say and do as Jesus shows us (Mathew 22 34:40).

Secondary School

Understanding - Students learn that God is Lord over all creation and that reverence for Him is the foundation of wisdom, shaping how people discern truth and live with purpose (Genesis 1:31; Psalm 111:10; 1 Corinthians 1–6).
Action - Students are encouraged to seek God’s wisdom through prayer and Scripture, allowing this to guide their decisions, relationships, and conduct, and to honour God in all they do (Philippians 4:6; 1 Corinthians 10:31).

Early Learning Centre

Understanding - God is truthful, kind and good (Psalm 100:5).
Action - God wants us to be truthful, kind and good to others (Luke 6:31).

Primary School

Understanding - in knowing God we understand the truth (John 17:17).
Action - to be honest and speak the truth with themselves and each other (Psalm 25:5).

Secondary School

Understanding – Students understand that God is the source of truth and calls His people to live truthfully. They recognise that through Jesus and the work of the Holy Spirit, believers are enabled to grow in ethical living and integrity (Psalm 119:160; John 18:10–11).
Action – Students are encouraged to act with sincerity and integrity, allowing God’s Word to shape their conscience and choices, and to do what is right for the right reasons in everyday life (Matthew 6:1–4; Hebrews 4:12).

Early Learning Centre

Understanding - God helps us because He loves us (John 3:16).
Action – We help others to show God love (Luke 10:30-37).

Primary School

Understanding - To serve and follow God with joy as Jesus did (Psalm 100:2).
Action – Showing God’s love through service to others (Ephesians 2:10).

Secondary School

Understanding - Students understand that God calls His people to respond to the needs of others, following the example of Jesus, who came not to be served but to serve (Micah 6:8; Matthew 20:28).
Action – Students are encouraged to use their gifts and strengths to serve their community, putting others before themselves in practical and compassionate ways (Romans 12:6–8; Mark 10:45).

Early Learning Centre

Understanding - God is good and He made everything good (1 Timothy 4:4).
Action - Creating us was God’s very best work! We always try to do our very best work, too! (Isaiah 64:8).

Primary School

Understanding - Whatever we do work hard as we work for the Lord, not for others (Colossians 3:23).
Action - Doing things as well as we can. Don’t stop trying, never give up, and be humble (Colossians 3:17).

Secondary School

Understanding - Students understand that excellence begins in the heart and involves commitment, perseverance, and thoughtful inquiry in the pursuit of truth (2 Corinthians 8:7; 1 John 4:1).
Action - Students are encouraged to persevere through challenge, grow in skill and understanding, and approach learning with diligence and resilience, striving to give their best for God’s glory (James 1:2–4, 6; 1 Corinthians 15:58).
