Aspiration, leadership, and preparation for life beyond school
In Senior Secondary, students are encouraged to aim high, live with integrity, and serve with purpose.
Following the ACT Board of Senior Secondary Studies framework, students work towards their Year 12 Certificate and, where applicable, a Tertiary Entrance Statement. We offer a range of academic and vocational courses, enabling students to tailor a program that reflects their strengths, interests, and future goals.
Targeted ACT Scaling Test (AST) preparation is embedded, alongside a comprehensive careers and transitions program that connects students with professionals, universities, and training providers. Guest speakers, from business leaders to not-for-profit organisations, help students see how faith and vocation can work together. Year 11 and 12 students take part in a senior camp designed to strengthen relationships, build leadership skills, and set a vision for their final years at school.
Senior students play a key role in shaping the life of the College through the student leadership team, mentoring younger students, leading assemblies and chapels, coordinating service projects, and launching student-led initiatives that reflect their passions. They continue to enjoy a broad range of co-curricular options including sport, music, the bi-annual musical, debating, and academic competitions. Daily Connect Time with their pastoral group provides ongoing relational support, accountability, and spiritual encouragement.
Our graduates leave Brindabella with more than a certificate, they leave with a strong faith, resilient character, and the confidence to make a difference in the world.
