About the role
The Student Receptionist is responsible for the health and wellbeing needs of students from Kindergarten to year 12. The role will also include a range of administrative tasks. The Student Receptionist is required to work from 8.30am to 4.30pm during the school term.

Key Responsibilities  

  • Manage first aid of students
  • Inform parents of accident or illness to their child according to school policies and procedures
  • Liaise with relevant parents and teaching staff as required
  • Organise first aid kits for sporting event and other school activities
  • Order appropriate supplies
  • Ensure medical information in PC schools is up to date
  • Liaise with parents of children with health issues and oversea management plans
  • Provide medical emergency list to staff for camp or where required
  • Other admin duties as required

Qualifications

  • Enrolled or Medical Nurse preferred but not essential
  • Current Senior First Aid and CPR qualified

About the role

The Receptionist is a pivotal role in the College as the first point of contact. The Receptionist maintains security processes by logging all visitors and issuing visitor passes and providing support to the administration team as required. It is also imperative that the Receptionist has a polite telephone manner and is well-presented at all times.

Casual Early Learning Assistants, Charnwood & Lyneham Campuses

The actual and anticipated vacancies are for a committed and dedicated Enrichment & Learning Support Teacher Assistant with a passion for Christian education.  We welcome applicants who are creative, inquiring and enthusiastic, and have a genuine commitment to the holistic education of students K-12. The position is full time and will commence in 2019.

An Enrichment & Learning Support Teacher Assistant at Brindabella Christian will:

  • Demonstrate excellent teaching practice
  • Have knowledge of how to structure lessons to meet the academic and pastoral development of students
  • Be able to create and maintain safe, inclusive and challenging learning environments and implement fair and equitable behaviour management plans
  • Show a willingness to participate in the College’s extensive co-curricular program

Out of School Hours Care (OSHC) Assistants, Lyneham & Charnwood Campuses

Due to the expansion of the OSHC program, we are seeking to appoint passionate Christians working towards formal education qualifications.


The OSHC Assistants are currently casual positions. Hours are Monday to Friday between the hours of 2.30pm and 6.00pm. Extended hours are offered during Vacation care. These positions report to the Coordinator, OSHC and Director of ELC.


Applicants for these positions must provide the following:


• A covering letter including their Christian values and beliefs;
• A CV including experience with working with school-aged children;
• A current WWVP card;
• Current First Aid Certificate, and
• Three referees including current Minister or Pastor.


The pay rate is in accordance with the applicant’s qualifications and experience and the CSA Award.
