Early Childhood Certificate III Educators

The actual and anticipated vacancies are for a committed and dedicated early childhood certificate educator with a passion for Christian education. We welcome applicants who are creative, inquiring and enthusiastic, and have a genuine commitment to the holistic education and care of children 6 months to 5 years. The position is full time and will commence asap.

Commencing: 2019

Educators at Brindabella Christian College will:

Committed, enthusiastic teachers are required for Brindabella Christian College. These are opportunities for passionate Christians with formal teaching qualifications.


These positions are casual with work available on an ‘as needed’ basis. All casual staff report to the Principal.


The Teacher positions are currently casual. Hours are Monday to Friday 8:30 till 3.15 pm or part there of.

Casual Early Learning Centre Teachers, Charnwood & Lyneham Campuses

These positions are casual with work available on an ‘as needed’ basis. All casual ELC staff report to the Director, Early Learning Centres.


The Early Childhood Teacher positions are currently casual. Hours are Monday to Friday 7:30 till 6pm. Maximum of 7.5 hours.

Casual Early Learning Assistants, Charnwood & Lyneham Campuses

Committed, enthusiastic applicants are required for our Early Learning Centres (ELC). These are exciting opportunities for passionate Christians that are working towards formal Early Childhood qualifications.


The ELC Assistants are currently casual positions. Hours are Monday to Friday between the hours of 7.30pm and 6.00pm. Maximum of 8 hours. These positions report to the Director of ELC.


Applicants for these positions must provide the following:
• A covering letter including their Christian values and beliefs;
• A CV including experience with working with school-aged children;
• A current WWVP card;
• Current First Aid Certificate, and
• Three referees including current Minister or Pastor.


The pay rate is in accordance with the applicant’s qualifications and experience and the CSA Award. The casual rate is from $25.60 per hour.

Casual Café Assistant (Mon-Fri 8.00am to 2.00pm)

Would you like to join our wonderful team in the Café/Canteen where you can spend time with our school community, parents, staff and our wonderful children at school.

Commencing: ASAP

You will be responsible for assisting the Café Manager and will be working in a fun and interactive environment which is very satisfying.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS


• Be a committed Christian and be actively involved in your local church
• Have a friendly and engaging personality, a good communicator and able to work under pressure
• Need to be willing to learn, take instruction and work under own initiative, supporting other team members and be able to multi task
• Demonstrated understanding of safe food practices
• Excellent standards of personal presentation with a smart appearance
• Be a team worker
• Good organisational skills
• Be able to prepare simple healthy meals




DESIRABLE REQUIREMENTS


• Barista qualifications/experience
• Have knowledge of working with food and safety


DUTIES MAY INCLUDE


• Operating the till and doing banking
• Assisting with ordering supplies
• Serving customers in a pleasant and courteous manner
• Keeping cleaning and temperature records
• Undertaking the preparation of the food and beverages served in the cafe

Out of School Hours Care (OSHC) Assistants, Lyneham & Charnwood Campuses

Due to the expansion of the OSHC program, we are seeking to appoint passionate Christians working towards formal education qualifications.


The OSHC Assistants are currently casual positions. Hours are Monday to Friday between the hours of 2.30pm and 6.00pm. Extended hours are offered during Vacation care. These positions report to the Coordinator, OSHC and Director of ELC.

• A CV including experience with working with school-aged children;
• A current WWVP card;
• Current First Aid Certificate, and
• Three referees including current Minister or Pastor.
