Primary K-6 Teachers Full-time and part-time positions

Do you have previous teaching experience in schools? Would you like to work within a caring school environment? Brindabella Christian College, Canberra is seeking a full-time K-6 teachers.

Finance Officer (Bookkeeper)

An exciting opportunity exists for a self-motivated, adaptable, proactive person to provide bookkeeping services to our Christian College. Would you like to work within a caring school environment? Brindabella Christian College, Canberra is seeking a Finance Officer /Bookkeeper to commence as soon as possible.
The successful candidate must be professionally qualified, exercise highly effective verbal and written communication skills, and maintain high-quality bookkeeping of college books, reconciliations and assisting in AP, AR & Payroll.

The position is responsible to the Finance Manager and it is expected that the incumbent will work collaboratively with Management and staff on the Brindabella Christian College campuses.

Qualifications & experience

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role with desirably a bachelor’s degree in accounting
  • Prior knowledge of accounting software packages particularly PCSchool
  • Solid understanding and proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office, especially Word and Excel.
  • Ability to work 9:00 am to 4:30 pm Monday to Friday

The remuneration package includes an attractive salary commensurate with the applicant's qualifications and experience.

Committed, enthusiastic teachers are required for our Early Learning Centres (ELC). These are exciting opportunities for passionate Christians with formal Early Childhood qualifications.

Non-Teaching

Casual Early Learning Assistants, Charnwood & Lyneham Campuses

Committed, enthusiastic applicants are required for our Early Learning Centres (ELC). These are exciting opportunities for passionate Christians that are working towards formal Early Childhood qualifications.


The ELC Assistants are currently casual positions. Hours are Monday to Friday between the hours of 7.30am and 6.00pm. Maximum of 8 hours. These positions report to the Director of ELC.

• A CV including experience with working with school-aged children;
• A current WWVP card;
• Current First Aid Certificate, and

Defence School Mentor

The College is looking for a Defence School Mentor to begin Term 3, 2020. The Defence School Mentor will provide information and support and develop a range of activities for children of Defence members and families to ease the impact of mobility and service related parental absence.

Commencing: 2020

The Defence School Mentor is a school/education authority employee and is responsible to the Principal for everyday activities and ultimately the Defence NSW Regional Education Liaison Officer.
